Jordan Neeley had a sickle cell crisis due to the struggle which deprived him of oxygen. This fact came out at trial along with the presence of K2 in his system and he was still alive when police arrived but they didn’t want to do mouth to mouth resuscitation because the cops said he was “dirty” and they were too scared about contracting contagious diseases from him, so perhaps if they’d had proper resuscitation safety gear, Neeley might’ve been saved? Who knows? BLM weren’t there for Jordan when he nowhere to live and needed mental health services. Neither was his Dad. Yet both are actively speaking out. I believe Daniel Penny would’ve acted exactly the same way if the person threatening everyone was white. This had nothing to do with race at all. As you said Nate, the only racist person was the co-founder of BLM.
