I’m binging on your videos at the moment, love your channel! DV isn’t about race or class, sometimes not even gender. Women are capable of abusing and murdering their intimate partners. I don’t know enough about this story to know if she saw any red flags and ignored them? This guy was obviously a serial abuser and his behaviour was escalating. She may have been trying to leave the relationship which also makes it the most dangerous time for a woman to lose her life. We have a serious problem with Intimate Partner Homicides here in Australia too. One woman is killed every 11 days here from IPH and males every 91 days. Obviously we are a much smaller country than America but still our Judges are letting the women down. Police spend hours doing briefings asking for no bail due to a criminal history and a dangerous credible threat to a woman, then a lawyer will get the Judge to let the guy out. There was a case a few months back where the Judge let the guy out on bail and the next day he took the life of the woman and her 3 kids. These stories break my heart. They are patterned homicides so they are preventable. I wish this beautiful woman didn’t look at race but looked at the character of the person. If he’s in a halfway house that has to be a stop button right there. You guys have the ability to do background checks from what I gather? He may have spun the “crazy ex” story to her. Sorry for the essay, I’m passionate about this topic and have helped many women, even myself. I hope people look for quality of character not skin colour. May she rest in peace ❤
