Ā @rossmacnab2655Ā aww thanks! I like you too š¤ I remember when Davy Jones did a guest appearance on the Brady Bunch and Marcia got to go on a date with him. I wanted another football to hit her nose I was so jealous šš showing my age but thatās where all the good music started from and we certainly donāt have bands like we used to. I think you mentioned Pink Floyd. There was Queen, Dire Straits artists like Whitney Houston. Swifty might be popular, I donāt listen to her, I do like Pink, but itās not the same. What do you think?

Ā @rossmacnab2655Ā by the way, I love The Monkees too! I looked for your comment. You have good taste in music in the other artists you mentioned also. My Dad brought me up on 50ās and 60ās music, especially the Beatles, I love their songs especially their early ones. ā¤ļø

Ā @rossmacnab2655Ā I love the Deep Purple story with Ian! How funny! šš Some of the best bands came from the UK š¬š§ I mentioned Queen already. Led Zeppelin, The Cult, The Who, The Rolling Stones, Fleetwood Mac and yes Pink Floyd and Deep Purpleā¦. God Save the Queenās rendition by the Sex Pistols šš Iāve even got a soft spot for the old Gerry & the Pacemakers š I saw them years ago when they came out and did a club tour around Australia š¦šŗ From the US šŗšø, my then husband took me to see Gene Pitney for my 21st birthday šā¤ļø I guess Iām a bit eclectic too or eccentric šš

Ā @rossmacnab2655Ā Friggin the riggin ššš omg memory lane!! Thatās hilarious! One of my exes introduced me to Lynard Skynard. Iād wake up every weekend morning to Freebird, Simple man etc.. I actually ended up loving the band. He did me a favour. The Ramones I found on my own. I saw them on an episode of Sha Na Na who ended up being the band that played in the movie Grease. Maybe they did that first? Not sure? Used to love them too! Talking Heads were awesome! The ex husband used to think ācheck out Mr business man on his way to the stock exchangeā were about him šš I think that was Wild Wild Life? It was a long time ago, I got married in 1987 when I was 19yrs old and wasnāt pregnant šš

Ā @rossmacnab2655Ā to the OP. Otherwise I wouldāve replied to a name.
2
Ā @jeremyhodges7956Ā ok that last line made me laugh šš

Ā @rossmacnab2655Ā I know right! Pierās new mailbag video read OPās comment and I was vindicated yay š he said it was about sales! So I felt like doing just a Ner Ner Ner Ner Ner šššš

I donāt listen to Taylor Swift but I did see a video about her diss track to Kim Kardashian called āThanK you aIMeeā so the letters KIM were spelt in capitals purposely. I wouldāve liked them to talk about that. I donāt think they actually listen to her music šš No surprise there. I did enjoy the show!

Ā @SuitAndTieNoPantsĀ when people write they are offended in the comment then they are. So your silly comment and attempt at ridiculing me is pathetic. I hope youāre offended too. I donāt know if they are talking about $$$ or actual sales numbers so your inflation point might be dumb. Have you actually done the calculations yourself for either? Or are you just making yourself the pompous expert with nothing to back it up but sarcasm? Rude much! How about if you donāt have anything respectful to say in a debate donāt bother.
1
Ā @SuitAndTieNoPantsĀ YouTube keeps deleting my comments to you although leaves yours up! OP said they were offended in the post at the end - so cross that off your list. Inflation- were they talking $$ or sales numbers? Have you personally crunched the numbers to be an expert on this before your attempt to become the expert on this in your comment? Iām guessing not? So I do have a point because it is my point which you cannot disprove other than to make sarcastic remarks to me. I will not do the same as Iām tired of getting comments deleted for no reason at all. All I ask is that if you want to debate a point please be respectful.

Ā @snuglife599Ā That was my point too and Iām definitely not a āswifty!ā I much prefer The Beatles.

Ā @Threemore650Ā oh I just saw the Beach Boys comment! I luurrvvveeddd them! Still do. They are on my playlist. Sloop John B & Hawaii came on last week. They had so many hits. As for Manson, I guess Dennis Wilson was the easiest one to get to because of his addictions. I think though Manson was so manipulative, thatās how he got his foot in the door. Correct me if Iām wrong but it was Brian that kicked Manson and his cronies out. As for California, I can only go by what I see on YT and yeah it doesnāt look like the wholesome family fun in the sun from my Aussie POV. I loved Jan and Dean too! Dead Manās Curve. š Edit: Davy Jones was a huge heart throb of mine ā¤ļø I did love Elvis. Not sure if you did in your comment to the āyoungsterā š I actually like Miley Cyrus too. I prefer it when she has clothes on. Music after 2000ās is mostly doof doof or mumbly thump as you say. I couldnāt agree more! š§”

Ā @dondamon4669Ā you donāt know that. Thatās called an āassumptionā just because you want it to be true, it doesnāt mean it is. If you could state actual numbers to me then I would believe you. Until then itās just you saying your opinion.

Ā @jeremyhodges7956Ā oh I thought this conversation was finished. Guess not. Jeremy, Iām not a fortune teller. Iām also not a Taylor Swift fan so I donāt know why youād think Iād care either way. If you watch Pierās new episode, he clears up this whole issue. I was right, it was all about sales, not who was bigger or better. Taylor has outsold The Beatles. To me personally, I wonāt be around in 50 years, Iām in my 50ās now, I would always consider the Beatles to be bigger than Taylor Swift. They revolutionised music with 4 chords. They took the world by storm. Elvis was a standout, women went crazy for him. When ABBA came out, the world went crazy too. Itās Taylorās turn now.

Ā @sassyrobin420Ā wow 𤩠Iām right there with you! So good you got to see a lot of them! You have great taste in music and yes music does suck now! šā¤ļø

Ā @SuitAndTieNoPantsĀ I didnāt get played. Even @dondamon tried to argue with me that it was about sales. Of course The Beatles changed the world with their music. That point was never in question. If you saw my response why did you not engage with me? I had some wonderful conversations on this thread with people about music. It was a lot of fun. The others, except for one person who was really smug, were conversations about sales vās popularity. You can think whatever you like. I know what you wrote and you didnāt bother to challenge me on it so Iām totally vindicated! You should be so happy your comment got picked out for the show. I hope youāve gone and watched it since you saw my comment. All the best to you mate. š«¶

Ā @SuitAndTieNoPantsĀ As we we have both been viewers of the show Bobby, the old proverb about the pot and the kettle comes to mind on that one. Clickbait refers to the title of the show which was āHe Diagnoses The Problem Correctlyā Matt Walsh on Andrew Tate & More. I didnāt see the title and rush in and think weād be having a debate about The Beatleās sales Vās Taylor Swiftās sales. Perhaps you just have a problem admitting that you were wrong? Maybe that Pierās staff pulled your comment out and it was shut down publicly on YouTube has hurt your feelings. If thatās the case then Iām truly sorry for you if youāve felt that Piers made fun of you or humiliated you. That must be a terrible feeling. Now it makes sense why youāre taking it out on me. Thatās ok. Iām not going to say anything sarcastic back. Bobby, I wish you all the best. Take care of yourself. š©µ
