@guywillson1549 human morals were developed long before organised religion tried to claim ownership of them, survival relied upon in group trust and cohesion which led to the development of the morals we now hold.

@guywillson1549 it’s wonderful how your loving god who is just so kind is happy to allow people to suffer an eternity of punishment for not believing in him when there is no proof surely he should be pleased we are using out brains which he apparently gave us? No ? Very odd he seems a little insecure for a supreme being imho.

@donjindra I was wondering what he was implying being atheist has nothing to do with those things peruse some Atheists might also look for those things but it’s hardly a given. Also I wasn’t upset or annoyed with him was just wondering where he got the idea from.

@guywillson1549 you don’t k ow you have no actual proof you believe a god was responsible for certain occurrences but cannot prove it, and none of the gods I have ever heard of deserve the name they are petty and childish and if not malevolent then uncaring you got to be pretty arrogant to believe that a supreme entity takes special interest in you.

@kbeetles it’s a choice between worshiping a deity who chooses not to reveal themselves but will punish his creations for not believing in him when he could easily solve the issue by appearing before all of humanity.

@kbeetles well thanks to your god I had a terrible childhood filled with loads of abuse he could have stopped at any time so I say your god can do one.
