I am a Trans woman and This Lady speaks nothing but good sense, if trans women or men were actually women or men there would be no need to put trans in front of either man or woman when self labelling.

@JaneA544 no I am a trans women the fact there is a trans before it indicates I am not genetically female, also I am many years post op I had my op over a decade ago so I have no male bits to either offend or intimidate nor attack women with nor would I, I adore women.

T K the only female spaces I use are toilets as I a unable to use male toilets, I actually live fully as a woman and no one even knows I was not born female, I intend to keep it that way and I do nothing to force myself into women’s spaces that would be seen as either dangerous or threatening. I certainly don’t agree with many of the things the trans movement is pushing at present particularly the push to label children as trans nor this trans woman in sport which is patently unfair.

T K so where do you suggest I go toilet then ? The woods, you are being deliberately obtuse imho the fact that I put trans before woman makes all the difference I am not pretending to be a woman if I was I wouldn’t add the trans suffix, that’s the point I accept I can never be genetically female but I can hardly go into men’s changing areas and toilets now that I have a feminine appearance.

@Jack Snow genetically yes does it make you happy to keep pushing this point? However I am not a “man” in the conventional sense since I had gender reassignment over 15 years ago and have no male appendages but do have breasts so what’s you point? That I am a freak? News flash there is no such thing since e are all different. It would help if we were not all judges en mass by the worst of our groups, hence I don’t think all are guilty for the crimes of some and I don’t think all it is helpful to think that way we are all individuals.

@jewelweed6880 thank you I am glad things worked out for you. I do worry about children being pushed into things like this, even adults should think long and hard if there isn’t a really insistent part of your brain demanding it then it’s not even worth considering, no one should make such a choice lightly. No one chooses to be trans although I am sadly getting the feeling some people are now pretending to be trans just to get a bit of attention, strangely enough all the trans people I have met who are truly serious want to fade into the background rather than announce their trans nature to the world. My perspective is this how can you love as a woman if you don’t act and pass as a woman?

@charlottetaylor4471 no I am a trans woman that indicates I haven’t changed biology but have changed how I present myself to the world, I never claimed I had changed biology if I did I would say I was a woman not say I am a trans woman.

T K I see you are just tryouts no to be offensive, in your own way you are as bad as the rabid trans activists. It’s people with your attitude who give them the excuse to behave like everyone is against trans people. I have never said I was genetically female that’s the whole point of having the trans suffix if it was possible to genetically alter gender then there would be no need to have the trans part but as it is impossible then it is used to differentiate those of us who are no longer living in the manner of our genetic gender. If genetic change was possible this whole debate would be moot.

I am not a woman I am a trans woman the trans suffix makes all the difference I you just want to be confrontational and aggressive then maybe I know more about being feminine than you unfortunately many so called Feminists seem to revile all things feminine where as I embrace those same things because I actually like the traditional feminine approach to life. Not that I think woman should be forced to partake in those roles 8n society.

If you want to be confrontational and aggressive all your life then so be it, you should consider that although I am a trans woman I am against all this agenda being pushed and you are actually creating tension with the most effective person to combat this trans madness a trans person who is sensible and not pushing for madness whilst also giving those radical trans activists the ammunition they need to scream everyone hates trans.
