  1. It only takes a handful of survivors. In reality the deaths were probably mostly the starved people who ate a mostly wheat diet and not much nutrition or vitamins.

  9. They used war as a form of population control. Look at the scots at the beginning. They did not want to be there at all and in fact the english had promised not to use the scots in foreign wars but they lied. They also stole all their land and turned it into estates for the queen and other worthless royals. There are still crumbling scottish villages all over their estates they never bothered to even knock down they were so uncaring in their theft.

  23. What annoys me is they always scoff at the numbers. In WW I there were MILLIONS of soldiers but most of them were in support or holding some of the endless expanses of lines. In medieval times the whole army on each side gathered together as many men as humanly possible and they just fought til one side collapsed. Of course the numbers of dead in the larger battles would be positively apocalyptic - the entire army could get wiped out if things went bad.

  26.  @hannahdyson7129  There's something called selection bias especially in this age when most people died of bacterial infection. Being young and seeming to be fine also does not mean you have a good diet. Most people at this time were on the brink of starving and starvation death was very common (bloody flux).

  35. Try red light therapy for your headaches. The sun itself does most of the work not the vitamin d but the nonUV spectrum of light. D will also help but much less than some suggest.
