  1. There's no way goebbels or goering would have started a war they were just opportunists in over their heads. By the time Elsing made his attempt the war was already in swing though. If he did do it in 1938 then who knows what would happen but it's unlikely there would be a war in the next few years anyway, not unless UK belatedly declared war for czechoslovakia.

Some of them are just bonkers but mainly the german ones were all logical but hitler would still have been better off to appoint one leader (even a dope like halder) and let him make all the decisions. Basically it wound up like generalship by committee as the war dragged on which is obviously never going to work.
