A drop rubbed on your nostrils before going outside could help, and putting some betadyne in a humidifier in your home or place of work will have a huge effect in reducing living viruses in the air. Phototherapy - I use this for other purposes and it's highly helpful but it seems to be a cureall in many respects. UV B shined directly into your mouth would be best for bugs, but red light and NIR will also boost your immune system and will help on any part of the body. If you have a lung infection then NIR on your chest should be helpful. There are others as well but these are cheap and effective ways to help protect yourself.
