In farenheit 0 is really really cold, and negative degrees are certain death. And 100 degrees is pretty much max hotness and anything about that is unreal. So it makes sense. In celcius numbers are just crap and meaningless.

@ATemplarIGuess Sure, but who cares? For degrees it does not matter at all and I don't care if there is some 'logic' behind it. If anything the units are too small for degrees C which makes things harder to deal with. Just like centimeters are way too small to be handy. It is fine for calculating things but it is absolute trash for day to day use. Just because cm are more useful for building a space shuttle doesn't mean it makes any sense at all to use it for day to day life. Things like cups and teaspoons are not scientific at all but guess what? Cooking is not scientific lol This nonsense was basically forced on everyone and no one would be using it at all if it were not. They threw people in jail to keep them from selling food items by the cup for fcks sake, only a deranged commie would think that even makes sense let alone do it.

@timkenda8203 You're just extra dumb and uneducated. Do you deal with tiny fractions of an inch all day? It's fine for carpentry and no one would suggest to do aerospace engineering in fractions of an inch. Only people too dumb to use two very simple unit systems would ever think they had to standardize it in every aspect of life. In communist europe even bra cup sizes must be in cm LOL
