@ElemXCR Pretty much all nonsense. The problem is they don't look at what actually exists when talking about fallout they talk about what could exist. If you created bombs specifically to make as much fallout as possible you could cause wide devastation but that was not the case and no one made cobalt bombs. The nuclear winter idea is also very shaky. This won't happen at all from aerial burst bombs, and the very large bombs will just blow the debris right into space. So again it's another theoretical scenario that could be theoretically a problem in some imaginary scenario but would not happen in the real world. Like I said, the entire nuclear arsenal at the height of the cold war contained less than one second worth of the energy the sun hits us with every day. No matter how you distribute that it's going to be like a wet far compared to the planet itself. The biggest cities would be gone if targeted and the injuries would be astronomical because even a few hundred burn victims are really hard to care for let alone millions, but there's no chance of destroying the earth or even putting a serious dent in the world population.
