In Europe today they look for what they want in the places they know they will find it and will throw you in jail if you look anywhere else on your own.Yet we still have found light skin and light eye DNA in some neanderthals so it obviously existed all along. making up a fairy tale that it recently evolved over night even though their own molecular clocks say otherwise is just more political bs in a field that is entirely composed of it.

  4. There's also user error and fraud which are not unknown. A reading that is slightly older than anything found to date is a big deal and lead to more digs and funding, something 500 years later is basically going to be totally insignificant.
