  1. People are coming down on linux for this but this is no way to develop anything. Constant updates don't even work for the most silly application let alone for an OS or web browser that is extremely sensitive to changes due to security issues. If someone is smashing in huge amounts of code to update tiny issues it's just unworkable and if the file system requires these large changes regularly then it's just not ready for use.
