  3. There is actually no evidence that G.Y. Rasputin was a horse thief nor a Khlyst. These were common smear tactics used by his many many detractors. Also, his introduction to the royal family was made, originally, by a pair of noble sisters known as the “Black Crows”. They were from Montenegro...hence the name. There was a ton of misinformation floating around about him during his time. It is, therefore, understandable how this video got some of it wrong. He was a complicated figure during some very unstable times in Russia. It’s a bit much to ask a short video like this to do the research necessary to getting the story straight. That being said, they actually did a pretty decent job.
