  2.  @dickusbigus764  , you clearly don’t how Taiwan handled the virus. They didn’t follow China’s lockdowns because Taiwan never had a lockdown...not a single day of lockdowns. That’s how well the country of Taiwan handled it. And you are not addressing the quote. This quote is not about how well the island nation of Taiwan did, but rather about how Taiwan tried to warn the world via W.H.O.. They ignored Taiwan and the world suffered. Also, China works hard to keep Taiwan out of international institutions silencing them and depriving the world of Taiwan’s worthwhile and well needed contributions.

  3. It’s so good to finally hear them talking about the CCP and their censorship of America and beyond. It’s also rare and refreshing to hear mention of Taiwan as a free and independent country.

  4.  @dickusbigus764  , I believe what I said was Taiwan TRIED to warn the world, but the W.H.O. ignored them because the CCP probably told them to do so. There are documented correspondence between the Taiwan CDC and the W.H.O. warning of human to human transmission two weeks before the CCP finally admitted it...hence the quote. I have no idea where you are getting your information, but with all due respect, it is lacking. Also, China had major lockdowns in WuHan and other cities as well. They stopped all domestic flights and most trains. Taiwan, on the other hand, continued on basically as normal. So, no, Taiwan did not do everything thing China did. They didn’t have to. They handled it, and still are, very well.

  5.  @dickusbigus764  , Taiwan did not wait for China or their pets in W.H.O. to find out whether there was human to human transmission or not. Taiwan sent their own team into the epicenter of the outbreak, WuHan, and discovered evidence of H2H transmission long before anyone else said so. Taiwan then took this information to the W.H.O. and told them to warn the world...but they didn’t and now the world is suffering. Taiwan should have a voice in this and other international bodies like any other self governing country, but the CCP wants to play politics with our lives.

Now, they only survey, detain and enslave whole populations of Muslims, harvest organs of prisoners of conscience, take control of developing countries by luring them into debt traps, stage massive cyber attacks, steal intellectual properties, etc..   12.  @gerryobrien2696  , very true. However, CCP surveillance doesn’t just stop at the Chinese border. If you have a Huawei phone, the CCP is spying on you. If you have TikTok, WeChat or Zoom, the CCP is spying on you. They may be the devil we know, but that doesn’t make then less dangerous.

  16. It’s funny, when I hear these guys talk about the virus and about other countries that did so well at it, they never mention Taiwan. Taiwan has done an amazing job despite being one of the first countries to get it and despite being blocked from the WHO by the CCP. Why don’t they know this?

I am simply angry about Taiwan’s exclusion from international bodies by the CCP, the results of which we are seeing now. If Taiwan were given a voice like almost every other country in the world, we probably would be in the situation we are now. The tried to warn us, but the CCP forced the W.H.O. To ignore them.

He mentioned his colleagues in China, which is fine and good and not necessarily suspect, but when talking about the countries that did well against the CCP virus, he didn’t mention Taiwan...who has done way better than any other nation.

The point is, TW was on top of it and knew of human to human transmission before anyone else (or at least wasn’t afraid to claim such), but the WHO and the CCP silenced Taiwan and thus the world suffered.

The problem here isn’t mishandling of the virus (which the CCP is also extremely guilty of), but rather the deliberate and fatal silencing of a country that was sounding the alarm and trying to help the world. Taiwan could have helped but the world, but the WHO under the pressure of the CCP ignored their evidence and disregarded their intend...and now we all suffer.

  36.  @atn2666  That’s right, they’re not. The CCP has used its leverage on the WHO to keep the free and independent country of Taiwan out of the World Health Organization. They do this with most international bodies. It is in this case and to the point of this clip that we see how damaging to the world it can be when countries and international organizations put politics over saving lives.
