  1. Adults don't learn language the same way as babies. You can't put an adult in a remote Chinese village and expect them to pick up Mandatin through osmosis

  2. ​@Alec72HD 100% true. People don't immigrate to a foreign country, for the most part, to immerse themselves in the culture and language. They come for the $$$ and/or to escape repression, etc
