  1. I remember my days as an airport shuttle driver in Seattle. I transported many visiting Alaskans from SeaTac to surrounding areas. I got the impressions that they were a little bit self conscious about being from Alaska, so many of them over emphasized how cosmopolitan they were. The truth is that there really are no stereotypes about Alaskans in the lower 48, so relax 😀 People in Seattle just think of it as that place you go to work in the commercial fishing or oil industry.
