  2. Well, the establishment of dominance visa vi the shark attack establishes fear and obedience to NCOs. I carried that with me during my time in the Army. You respect the rank and never fully let down your guard around them. I think the reason the shark attack was eliminated was because society put pressure on the military to not be so abusive. However, as we slowly get more pussified, the military needs to draw the line somewhere because war is hell and our soldiers need to be tough.
