  2. I realised this phenomenon when I learned Spanish. My classmates, after 2 years of study, were absolutely convinced that they were fluent. When I first set foot in Mexico. I realized that my skills in the language were subpar. I didnt understand anbody and could scarcely make myself understood. After a year in country I achieved some mastery of the kanguage, yet am aware of how SO much more there is to kearn.
