@TheChannel1978 The fundamental definition of inflation is the creation of money for which no goods and services have been produced. Rising prices are the result of this. Note that not all rising prices caused by inflation. Temporary shortages, bad harvests, etc. also cause rising prices but have nothing to do with inflation.
