  5.  @bobmartin7399  All commercial jet aircraft today utilize jet engines of the axial compressor design. The German jet engines were of the axial compressor design. British jet engines were of the radial compressor design. Make of that what you will.

  10.  @johnbrewer8954  Belgium was not neutral. French troops were amassed along the Belgian border ready to cross and invade Germany. The reason why Britain got into WWI were purely economic. Even a modicum of reading from approved sources would enlighten you.

Britain decided to ally with France for economic reasons. German exports were seriously impacting British exports.

  18. Rubbish. The soldiers of the Soviet Union would have been hamburger had the USA not shipped millions of tons of food stuffs, factories, trucks, planes, weapons, munition, etc. in their support. It took the COMBINED effort of the USA and the Soviet Union over 5 years to defeat a small European country. What a people! What a country!

  22. Go and look at a map or a globe of the world, and compare the size of the countries on each side. The allies on one side were Britain plus Canada, Australia, New Zealand, then the USA, then the Soviet Union. Then there was Germany and useless Italy on the other side. It took the combined effort of the allies over 5 years to defeat a small European country. What a country! What a people!
