  2. +Lord Razoun Or every occupied bedroom. Problem is, when people have loaded guns ready and available, they tend to accidentally shoot each other. Other problem is, when people don't have them, they're defenseless. Damned of you/don't scenario. If you live alone it's a great idea, if there are other people around make DAMN SURE the house is secure--the racket someone'll make trying to break in will alert you. How did the guy get in the window so easily? If you're gonna pack, make sure your doors AND windows are both barred, especially at night. That way it'll take time to get in, and you can turn the lights on and be that much more sure of your target.

  4. If you have to confront three big guys, all the hand to hand training in the world won't help you (unless perhaps you're in a ferocious fit of white-hot rage). You're better off with a gun. If you're unarmed, don't do it. He's lucky he's not paralyzed or dead. You can call the police and then confront them verbally to delay their attack on the victim while waiting out the police response time. You're still better off armed though if it's 3 against 1!

  6. GamerPotatoGuy More fundamental than that, it's because life in general is pretty dull and young people don't have the money to do anything with their lives. Schoolwork dulls the mind and kills the will to live; after more than a a decade of it, young people are so dead inside that they turn to booze and other drugs just to provide some feeling of being alive, even if they know full well it's at the expense of their health. You're going to get old anyway, and just look at your parents--so why not? No matter how you slice it though, there's no excuse for driving while intoxicated.

  7. XH L Many would agree with you, including myself, but keep in mind the parents weren't drinking with them and weren't driving the vehicle (or in it at all). Barring any kind of external influence other than the booze itself, blame the dumbass kids themselves :)

  8. I've got a stupid question... Why on Earth does everyone consistently refer to these attackers as the victim's "friends"?! That includes a police chief for christ's sake! Since when are people who want to kill you your "friends"? They might be a clique, but sure as fuck aren't her friends. What the fuck is the matter with people?
