15:37 "i'm a convicted felon, so I've lost my pension, I can't vote...." Fuck voting, but his pension is HIS money. He handles it so gracefully. When I am deprived of my honestly-earned money (burned away lifespan), I'm ready to KILL MOTHERFUCKERS. And I'm a Canadian raised in a firearm-free household (i.e. weak-ass wankers), I'm not from the USA. If I were this guy, I'd want to draw serious blood. How in holy fuck can he handle it so gracefully. He must have a damn good savings account, a great wife, a solid base of friends, and a big-ass revolver under his coat.

***** You're probably right, but I've heard of major economic collapse in one country or another being imminent for pretty much my whole life (I'm 38) and it has never happened, with the possible exception of the USSR (and the countries are still around today). As long as there are people living in a country, there will always be things that need to be produced and maintained regardless of any kind of government shenanigans. Life itself is the economy, not governments, financial institutions or even units of currency. Life goes on (at least until someone decides to have a nuclear war).

Psytrux That'll help I suppose, but it's only half of what they worked for... I haven't clue why anyone would want to get involved in any kind of government racket like that, but somebody's gotta do it I guess. Any institution of power is liable to be corrupt as hell, just human nature.

The dude is surprisingly upbeat considering what he's been through. Devote your life and your mind to serving your country--and get fucked over royally by your own government. He's married too, I'm surprised they didn't torture and kill his wife. People in the USA know their country is fucked up; but they still love their country. Here in Canada, the people are oblivious to how totally fucked they are, and are apathetic towards their country, paying only lip service to any notion of freedom. Despite it's reputation for being one of the most violent and miserable nations in the world, a part of me has always wondered what it's like to live down there in the USA.

Anyway, one more point... He come across as a thoughtful, likeable, HUMANITARIAN guy. i.e., Enemy Of The State.

Here in Canada we have selective vindictive prosecution as well; but here, it's gang stalking, they don't use the actual judicial system. It allows the crime to go undetected, and the average Canadian will call you 'crazy' and alienate you or dismiss you. Canada isn't more civilized than the USA; we're just more underhanded and generally quiet about our atrocities. So many USA citizens still love their country though. Even when shit like this happens.
