  1. Bill, I agree with your thoughts, except for restrictions on "free speech". Free speech is is offensive speech; regardless of what one says, someone is offended. There is no such thing as "some" free speech, just as there is no such thing as a little bit pregnant. One is always free to ignore offensive speech or, counter it with better arguments. Libel and slander laws cover lies perpetrated about individuals. Nevertheless, the truth must always be a valid defence in such a case.

  3. Please keep in mind the following mantra: Everything you see/hear/read in the mass media about Germany and WWII, the exact opposite is much closer to the truth. That includes the lies taught in Germany today. Remember this: It was the German soldiers that battled so valiantly to stop the communist Soviet Union from invading western Germany and Europe. It was the USA that aided and abetted the Soviet Union in its attempts to conquer Europe.

I live in Canada and am of the opinion that quality of life can be a highly personal opinion, having visited both Europe and the USA for business and holiday purposes. A real problem for me is quoting averages for income etc.. I'd like to see mean income, and the standard deviation for average income. I wonder why these are (hardly?) ever given? This btw is my complaint about news stories that never give enough information for an informed opinion.

In my opinion, and that of others, it is political correctness and the inability to call a spade a spade. Change needs to be implemented and that begins with free speech, regardless of who gets offended. As I wrote earlier, libel and slander are already illegal under the law. Telling the truth, no matter whom it offends, is necessary for a healthy society.

That's why USA helped communist Soviet Union, which had gold to pay for the millions of tons of food and war material. Germany thought of and implemented an economic system that was light years ahead of the unbridled capitalism of the west. Consequently it prospered while the USA was still mired in the Great Depression.

  33. When you hear stories like that, simply say "hmmm, can you cite any authenticated forensic evidence to support your allegations?" You'll probably get a retort of the kind: "Are you calling me a liar?" To which a good reply is: "Have you ever played the game 'Telephone'? You should read some of the eye witness stories that came out of Auschwitz. These are truly inventive and entertaining! Unfortunately those tales break down completely when scientific and engineering principles are applied to all those stories. BTW, burning housing and civilians was something communists did under their "scorched earth policies. They probably also wore German uniforms from fallen soldiers. Without hard evidence contradicting this I would not give it any credence.

His books were harshly criticised yes, because they show that the entire narrative Germany baaad, allies and communists goood, into serious question. There are other books that support Suvorovs writings.

Fact is when France, Britain declared war on Germany to supposedly protect chauvinist, murderous Poland, the USA defacto declared war on Germany! Fact, is, USA navy fired upon German naval and merchant vessel in the North Atlantic while the former was officially neutral. Fact is, not until the USA hostility towards German ships was so bad, did Germany declare war on the USA in order to make legal commands for the German navy to fight back. The very fact that the USA aided and abetted the communist USSR in its aggression towards Germany and western Europe should be enough to make any thinking person cry. Obviously there are very few thinkers in the USA. May you all rot in hell.
