  6.  @shaunsteele4968  I'm quite certain that a rifle bullet will penetrate a steel helmet. A side arm bullet probably at close range. The primary reason for the helmet are metal and stone fragments that arise from bullet impacts and grenades.

  19. There is much more to it than that. The application of that knowledge towards lengthening and improving the lives of every individual on earth, is a strictly western European development. This happened primarily in England, Germany, and France. Other countries such as Italy and Spain played lesser roles.
