  9.  @kitchenersown  Austria had a vote, and the great majority of its citizens voted to join Germany. There was no coercion. President Hache of Czechia travelled to Germany to ask the German government to protect his country against Soviet invasion. Germany agreed to this and the Czech populace welcomed this. Danzig was over 95% German, and had been part of Germany until after WWI. Its populace wanted to be part of Germany again.
