  1. Pure rubbish! Look how badly "Mother Britain" has deteriorated. Worse than Canada I would opine. The national/social deterioration has occurred due to 3 reasons: 1) The mass media is now controlled by the government directly. "He who pays the piper calls the tune"; the government now subsidizes the mass media to the tune of tens of millions of dollars a year. CBC alone gets about $1.5 Billion a year! So whose fairy tales will get propagated??? The government's and those that control it. 2) Related to #1) above, the mass media is now in the hands of very few people, thus controlling public opinion. When is the last time a newspaper published a serious article with an opinion opposed to the politically correct narrative? 3) Central banking. The money supply is now controlled by the FIRE sector (finance, insurance, real estate) with banks creating money out of this air, as testified by a USA president of the Federal Reserve Bank! With unbridlerd money creation inflation MUST result because money is put into circulation for which no goods or services have been produced. This is the very definition of inflation. Because of the foregoing the entire education system is now in the hands of those that wish harm to the tax payer. Who remembers a few years ago when a convicted paedophile was paid to write sex education material for primary schools. The foregoing also prevents the electorate to form informed opinions regarding which candidate to vote for. Any detrimental information is not made available unless there is a scandal involving that candidate. The question remains what to do about this??? Here is what I have done. I NEVER vote for an incumbent. I vote for an independent candidate with no party affiliation who lives in my riding and has a family. Further, he must have the smallest advertising budget and comes to my door for a talk.
