  1. Used to go to the Dog Beach section of San Diego, and every year after 2017, the number of people sleeping in the bushes has greatly increased right up to where the hotels were. Forget about the bike paths. Used to love that place and it’s old school vibe and spent hard earned money to escape the heat from the Tucson area in the summer. In 22 decided on La Jolla, but expensive af, but I was maybe lucky to see one sketchy individual. Afterwards went to Julian (reminded me more of the Ozarks, which was fine, but did not have to worry about being hit up for cash) I am going to guess that the Julian residents would never tolerate a random person sleeping in a tent on the side of the road for a second.
