Not too familiar with Illinois, but I will take a few guesses: High property taxes, government corruption, severe weather in summer, northern part is cold in the winter, crime in the major cities like Chicago and Rockford, not much there scenically ( but I have seen some nice areas in the NW near the Dubuque IA area and to the south near Carbondale) and that is all I have. Congratulations to U of Illinois for that recent upset against the Badgers.
