  2. Too many rocks 🪨, Rye Beach, NH is better, IMO as long as you look eastward away from that nuke plant.

  4. Before Florida got overrun with transplants, Marathon Florida had an awesome beach circa 1979 and 1980. Singer Island too, near WPB, circa 1989 and into the 90s Seems like all those former horseshoe shape motels were torn down to make way for the huge high rises. Jensen Beach is still nice, visited there since 1990.

  6. In 1973 when I was like 5 all the way until about 1980, The Hamptons in NY used to be rustic and unspoiled. Glad I was able to see that. Same with the Cape in the mid 70s to about 1981

  7. Stayed in Sea Isle back in the summer of 86, and it seemed nice back then, not sure what it is like now, since I have not been there since then, but it was nicer than Wildwood, Seaside, and the more crowded North Jersey beaches.
