  2. Nicole Tierheimer I live in the Tucson metro area and I remember back in the early 90s there was virtually nothing east of Aurora, Colorado . It felt as though you were on the moon, and now there are huge houses with acreages to boot. That is notwithstanding, the more dramatic changes I have recently seen closer into Denver.

Not to familiar with Portland because I have only been there twice, but then again here are my 10 guesses: Winter Rain, cost of living, resentment towards California transplants, political strife between liberals and conservatives, homelessness, heavy opioid abuse, increasing traffic congestion, road construction, a dearth of public transit, and beer/food snobbery. Going for half. Now it is time to enjoy.

  4. Could have done better, I totally forgot about the impending natural disaster aspect via Mt Hood and the subducting plate. Did not know that you could not pump your own gas there, I think NJ, as a whole, is like that too. Was definitely fazed by the average rainfall totals. Summer is great in Portland though. This will definitely give away my age, but St Helens erupted in May of 1980 and I was old enough to remember seeing it on every form of media, back in the day. Awesome video, it was 👍
