  1.  @catherineskis  Why don't you open your home for them and take 50 of them. That will be good for co-dependence, dependence or you move out to Mexico or other country to fix their problems, so they do not have to take that journey. That will be even better.

  4. Shame on @KPBS for making these sob stories. If this nonsensical policy of open borders is not reversed and illegals deported; USA will soon be a 3rd world country. Your reporter Gustavo Solis should first answer: Already USA is under Trillions of dollars of debt. Can USA absorb the entire population of South America??? WHERE WILL THE MONEY COME FROM??? Is this sustainable?

  5. Spot on. If those countries have problems these people should stay there, fight and fix like citizens other countries. If they keep coming to USA, those countries will continue to have problems. This is a ‘deliberately manufactured crisis’. Trump had fixed the problem and it was down to trickle. His policies were reversed by Biden that created this crisis. Dems believe they are producing their FUTURE VOTERS because of birthright citizenship and one day there will be amnesty; even when ‘open borders’ means destroying USA. Giving them 'Work Permits' in 30/60 days after arrival, ENCOURAGES more people to cross the border. It is a mockery of visa system. Unfortunately, leftists/socialists/wokes and media are naive (or corrupt). If they continue open borders - Not Millions, billions will come in.

  6.  @amj7518  Asylum was meant for people fleeing 'religious persecution' like minorities from Iran fleeing Islamic hardliners; Lebanese Christians facing persecution after it became an Islamic state NOT for economic migrants. TOTAL FRAUD is being done to US Citizens using the theme 'everyone is a migrant' but there is a big difference between illegal and legal migrants. Legal migrants go through background checks, lots of paperwork and wait several years before getting even a green card. Today, every US Citizen & LEGAL MIGRANT feels CHEATED by Dems.
