Please think logically and beyond money. When your birth rate is declining to 1.6%, US women need to more produce babies to reach at least 2% to maintain the population otherwise who is going to take care of you or pay to Social Security so they can send checks to you when you get old or help in nursing home or assisted living. You will be forced to import people whose culture and values might not match yours. Just look what happened to Sweden with that import. It used to be ranked 'happiest country on earth' is the most unsafe place now (filled with crime and gang warfare) for native Swedes. It is starting to happen here in NYC and many other states. Now Sweden, Hungary, Russia are doing campaigns that women produce children are there are incentives in place.

@Mounhas Thanks. You actually prove my point. Sweden used to happiest country but no more because of uncontrolled immigration (which created crime and gang warfare) to cover up for the declining birth rate. Old people do need care and planners thought they found a solution to solve the declining birth rate problem. Denmark took many but has been deporting lot of immigrants and is #2. They had an uptick in crime and social issues as the values and culture did not match that of the immigrants. Iceland hardly takes any immigrants and is a homogeneous society and #3 in the list.

@OkiChick302 Cool down. No need to get angry. I am just waking up people to reality. Better childcare options will come only when you have babies. Do India and China have all the things you mentioned? Money does not replace human beings. You will still need nurses and doctors and people (all humans) to take care to the end of the life. Do you not want the America survives and grow with Americans? Global universal fact: just like animals and all creatures, procreation is part of any living being's lifecycle. Very basic question for you: Will you never get old or need assistance??? (There is only one way you will never get old, and you would not like to hear it). Wake Up!

@OkiChick302 Nobody is forcing women to have children. Even for you, your mother gave birth to YOU. Now it is your turn to give them grandchildren. Ask her. It is what has been happening since human civilization. Was your mom forced???? This issue has been decided by SCOTUS as was gay marriage earlier. Not a federal issue or a National Election issue anymore. Vote accordingly in State elections or Props like OH & MO.
