That was a bad bill. It allowed 5000 per day or 1.8 million per year. All this nonsense at the border is hurting Indians. The same media, a month back was asking her to be dropped from the ticket (and replace her), and now is trying to coronate a candidate they favor, every Indian American US Citizen should be asking these questions: #1 Most important Question: What has Kamala ever done for India or Indian Americans whether as AG of California or as VP? What has she said about India, Modi or Indians? We know the real world - about inflation hitting hard our weekly household budget, cost of living going up, complete mess at the border. Between 1995-2020, the cost of bread, eggs and groceries stayed almost the same but shot up after 2021. Hurts many of us because of bad policies of Biden-Harris. Media is just serving Kool-Aid and brainwashing people.

If one is bi-racial then call yourself that way all the time and not be a CHAMELEON (Girgit in Hindi) to switch when it suits you. When contest in CA, where Indian Americans are in significant number and at NATIONAL level changed it to another identity. That smells like a HYPOCRITE. For many Indian Americans, the problem is her (and her sister Maya,/niece Meena) Anti-Hindu and Anti-India views. Maybe you are a millionaire and an elite for whom cost of living, hyperinflation does not matter. The price of bread, eggs and groceries remained the same between 1995-2020 and skyrocketed under Biden-Harris making it hard to manage household budget. Have you been to Switzerland. They have more guns per capita but lower crime than USA because they control who gets inside the country. It is close to impossible to get a gun license in India but see the amount of crime done by bad guys with guns in EVERY CITY. I wish Indian girls carried weapons to deal with bad guys. There would be no Kolkata (and multiple similar) situation. Very simple question for you: Indians FEAR guns (because of Gandhi) but that is one the sports they win medals in Olympics or other games. Have you heard these names: Karni Singh, Tara Shahdeo, Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, Abhinav Bindra (Gold Medal), Manu Bhaker, Gagan Narang, Vijay Kumar, Swapnil Kulsare etc.

@arpandas2243 First try buying a gun or visiting a store. It is the culture. Whether Independence or later or day to day in rural areas, having and using guns is a normal thing. Hunting animals and eating meat is a common thing. (Majority of East Indians do not hunt and are mostly vegetarians) It is part of the diet here. Just like one community globally is good with knives. (Hopefully you remember Kanhaiya Lal, Umesh Kohle and others in UK, Netherlands, Germany). From childhood, kids are given toy guns. Then video games, movies. Kids fancy going to work for armed forces. In India, they want to be doctors, engineers instead. Then societal issues and family support, individualism, declining interest in religion or spiritualism that impacts mental health. Also, Hollywood movies play a major role where arms are used to win over bad guys. Some of those movies make billions. Do your research.

@truthseeker7564 Spot on. Correct observation. It was for Ukraine & Israel Military Aid. HB2 for border passed by the House has been sitting on Schumer's desk for a year. Those who advocate open borders should be told that if everyone should cross borders, then shut down all the embassies globally and there is no need for VISA as well.
