  3. I would love more skilled female workers in the construction industry, plumbers, electricians, bricklayers, plasterers etc. It would make finding people to do up my house so much easier. The decorator I use is excellent, she turns up when she says she will, is fair and upfront about her quotes and does a top notch job. The car mechanic I've gone to for years is a woman. She's quick, efficient and I'm happy to recommend her to everyone I know. We need more apprenticeship schemes to train British youngsters of both sexes for all of these jobs rather than encouraging everyone to go to university. This country needs a multi skilled workforce who produce a finished result of the highest standards, who take pride in their work.

  4. I would have absolutely loved to learn woodwork and metalwork at school. I wasn't interested in cookery and needlework but wasn't allowed to do the things I wanted to. It still pisses me off to this day. I loved making things. I would have become a skilled carpenter if I was allowed to instead of being funnelled into admin roles. Boring!!!! 😕

  6. Has it ever occurred to you guys that there are a lot of women that would love to work in those kinds of jobs but they're made to feel as welcome as a fart in a spacesuit and are deterred at every stage 🤦🏻‍♀️

  7. Rubbish. I'd much rather be out in a truck than stuck in an office! Stop making nonsense generalisations. I know plenty of men that would go absolutely insane if they had to work on their own. And women who are very happy being self sufficient. Not everyone fits into the rigid little boxes you've decided they should be confined to
