  11. A technical issue here... Can Callum please do something about his microphone, or the mix of his microphone compared to other people's? There's a treble-y harshness to the sound and it always seems louder in volume than other contributors. It gives an imbalance that is unpleasant to the ear. I'm sure a sound engineer would know all the technical terms for this and how to balance out the tone/volume differential. Cheers guys.

  19. Callum, antinatalists don't believe in killing. They believe in not creating new life. This is a very big and very important distinction. Antinatalism is about the prevention of future suffering. They don't advocate for death or the end of a life that already exists - that would involved suffering. But if you prevent a new life from being brought into being, by practising birth control or abstinence, you are thus preventing the suffering that would result from that life. As the Buddha and many other philosophical traditions have said, all life results in suffering. Please educate yourself on the masters you comment on instead of giving frequent offhand snarky little comments that show your lack of knowledge on the things you're commenting about. We expect more from this podcast. We expect informed debate from a platform such as yourselves. If we want uninformed snark, we can just go to Twitter or ask anyone in the pub. 🤦‍♀️

Which 1) he's not self identifying, he's objectively, demonstrably talented, with sell out shows and awards for his TV work. But meanwhile 2) Boyle IS perfectly ok with self ID. Any fugly bloke self identifying as a woman, no problem! For a joke to be funny it has to be internally consistent for a start.   24. Thing is, this had been endemic in parts of Africa for a long time, why all of a sudden has it appeared around the globe. Watch Dr John Campbell's YouTube channel. Another method of transmission is through droplets breastfeed out. He did a great video about it that talked all about the way it is first and what the symptoms are, what the pustules look like, how dangerous it is and who is most at risk. Please watch his videos about it. His most recent video talks more about the sexual transmission about it and where the pustules are appearing on the body of these men.

If people genuinely want children and are prepared to do everything you need to do to bring them up well, I'm fully supportive of them. But too many people become parents for the wrong reasons or who just aren't up to the massive responsibility. There's no job more important in my view. It's not a responsibility to be taken lightly.
