So many cultures around the world, including China when it has its one child policy, see female offspring as a burden to the family so world-wide the rate of aborting female foetuses and female infanticide. So, in China you ended up with fewer women in society, but enough women to go around so men have to remain single. As a species we need to value women and girls more than we do. If men were rare, they'd be seen as more valuable than they are. If men were rare, you might even find that women would compete for you 😂
