  1. The simple answer for these comedy clubs is to ask everyone who goes there to leave a rating and comments on their way out if they wish. Like an exit poll so that EVERY voice in that audience is heard not just a tiny minority of vocal permanently read to be offended everywhere they go crowd. They'll soon realise that they can actually put on the same shows as before and they will have firm data to back up their decisions. Or pick a completely random sample of people to ask, on their way out of a gig, maybe with the opportunity to comment the next day when they've had time to think about it and give a measured response. If the minority realise they're in the minority and that their whining makes no difference they'll have no choice but to shut up and grow up, to do a bit of self reflection and not act like toddlers having tantrums so nanny/mummy will back down and give in to them. Ordinary people in every audience deserve to be heard too
