  1. Many of the views you're ascribing to him he's never actually said. For instance, he's not saying people should believe him, quite the reverse, he's encouraging people to think for themselves, to listen and come to their own conclusions. He himself doesn't accept anything until a certain weight of evidence is found. Much of what he suggested in his very first book has since been seen to happen
