  2. I had eczema from early childhood. Regularly applied topical steroid ointment to calm it (but never cure it) It's only when I cut out all dairy products for a different reason and all the deep layers if my skin started to heal that my eczema completely cleared up never to return. It wasn't instant, it took a few months. But it completely went away. Dairy was clearly the cause.
