@MetalheadAndNerd Indeed. We are all given free will. What we do with that is down to us. I speak as a previously life long atheist who has realised there is something in this God lark. I've noticed a mottling of the skin on my legs in recent months that I've never had before. Could this be an early symptom?

This is truly horrifying. Is there a test that can be done to see if we have this process going on in our vessels before it leads to death? What are the common factors amongst that 20% that are affected? Is it drug dependent? Dose dependent? Can we do anything to reduce of risk of this substance building up in our own blood vessels? This is truly worrying.

Are dialysis technicians seeing any of these fragments coming out in the blood of patients in for treatment? What are the common factors in the general lifestyles of the prior most at risk. Is there any genetic factor that makes people more susceptible to this unusual clotting? Are there any dietary factors that make people more susceptible? Are there any other lifestyle factors involved? What symptoms were people noticing before they died? Surely these things would cause symptoms. Maybe slight ones that people happened to notice but explained away, disregarded, as we all often do when they're vague? So many questions. As you say, a moratorium is needed to investigate all of these questions. And more.
