He could learn a lot from someone like Dr Bart Ehrman for instance. I could listen to him for hours. I've only become interested in biblical history because he's such a great speaker and entertaining guy!

Dale Carnegie's "How To Win Friends And Influence People was huge in the early 20th century and books on self improvement and how to conduct yourself around all levels of society, including his to deal with one's servants and how to handle situations with members of the opposite sex were the subject of many conduct and how to books in Jane Austen's time and before. As long as we've had printing, the self help genre has been a thing. The ability to learn from as many people as possible has always been a useful life enhancer. Why make mistakes when you can learn from someone else's. Eminently commendable to learn as much as possible from as many people as possible!

  21. Isn't it the inhabitants of Samoa or Tonga that favour larger ladies? It's not true that EVERY society finds slim women attractive. Ancient statues seem to have preferred larger women too didn't they. Larger, fatter women would have made for healthier pregnancies and better nourished babies giving them an evolutionary advantage to select female mates who carried more adipose tissue.

I've a long standing (male) friend who, even though he has a lifelong interest in space exploration, including going to Mars, and science fiction, has been captured by the left and hates Elon Musk. I was left leaning in my younger years, we've known each other for 30 years. I changed with time and experience. He works in a very Woke tech industry. He's completely captured. I'm female, I'm based. I listen to people like yourself. He stomps off when I don't go along with the things he believes. I argue my case. He doesn't want to listen 🤷🏻‍♀️ No evidence will sway him and tbh he wouldn't survive in his career if he didn't go along with all this BS. He lives for his job. I hate to see him so uncritical in his thinking but he's lost.

I don't care how "spiritual" he is now. If he abused people when he was younger and didn't have consequences for that then, it's only fair that he had consequences now.

He's a Christian, I don't know what he thinks about Israel or Judaism, I've seen him talk about immigration and Islam.
