19:35 I taught myself to meditate from a book so I could relax and be more creative, more innovative and successful. It was for purely selfish and secular reasons. I experienced during some of these meditations what I knew to be the ground of existence, I knew it was the energy that underlies all of life and time. It blew me away, it was profound. It wasn't something I was looking for or expecting, I had no spiritual beliefs at all. I was a rigid atheist. It opened my mind to the existence of something bigger than ourselves, the possibility of a god, of a divine immortal energy. It was incredible and of you'd told me about it beforehand I wouldn't have believed you

@dankyte766 Oh gosh this was 20 years ago, I can't remember! It was some kind of beginners guide to meditation. Very basic! As I say, I just wanted to be able to completely relax, switch off from the worries of the day and access the subconscious creative part of my mind.. I was young and ambitious, looking to the next promotion in those days, it may have even been a "business" book. The point is, that I had no spiritual expectations at all. I just wanted to be more effective at my job so I could earn more money 😆 Instead this inner timelessness and spaciousness opened up. 🙏
