  1. I could never see the fuss about the original. Much as I like James Cameron and agree with much of what he says and the ideas behind the film. And I always loved Sarah Connor organising her whole life, getting strong, training herself and preparing for the war she knew would find her, all to protect her child and, through him, the future of the resistance movement. Her character is incredible and the first three terminator films are still three of my favourite films of all time. Absolute classics. I have a lot of time for James Cameron. I have a male friend who loved avatar and is very much looking forward to the new one

  2. It's rather hypocritical of Matt Walsh to take this stance about Cameron and avatar given that I doubt he gives a single shit about indigenous people. But that's MW for you. Hell use anything he wants to, to make a point and beat a drum to prop up his own biased views about a subject. Thankfully, he's so transparent while he's doing this, you can simply tune out his blah when he's doing it. He doesn't have a legitimate point, but he'll put his views forward with self righteous fortitude whilst doing so. You'd hope, given his self image and belief in the rightness of his views, he would have integrity. But nope. He'll use anything to prop up his individual biases. Every time he does this I lose a little bit more respect for him. Keep going Matt, show us who you are. Rather you, than a truly intelligent person who's better at hiding his personal agenda. I can just watch and be entertained by your humour and your self important bombast without ever being swayed by you or ANYTHING that you say. 😁
