  2. 1 in 4 women? What's wrong with U.S. birth control education and provision is one in four women required abortions???? I'm a middle aged woman in the UK. I've never met anyone or known anyone who's had an abortion. I know plenty of women who've never had a baby either. They haven't needed an abortion because they used birth control. It's not difficult. Fair enough, no birth control is 100% effective but damn, 1 in 4???? That's insane. No wonder people in the US are so down on abortion. Something is wrong somewhere if 1 in 4 women are accessing the provision. I'm speaking as someone who supports the use of abortion but I'm also appalled that you allow abortion up to full term. We only allow abortions up to a specific point of a pregnancy.
