  2. you're talking about the Dalai Lama embracing science. Why is that such a foreign concept for you. Buddhism doesn't have a god. The Buddha himself said that people shouldn't believe what he says, but instead to test out what he says to see if it's true. He advocated a questioning approach, encouraging everyone to conduct their own research rather than accepting his words as true without question.
