  2. Why would the Labour party think they were going to assimilate? Have they not seen how tightly British people hang on to their native culture when they relocate to another country? Brits form ex-pat communities. It's human nature to take your culture with you. Why would immigrants from other countries and cultures be any different? It's basic human nature.
