I cannot wait until people discover prompt injection for all of these new AI interactions.
477
Go mentioned in the first 20seconds.
380
So basically incorrect use of TLDs is coming home to roost?
369
A company using AI but not jamming it down my throat… what a fresh new approach.
237
See you in half an hour when the next piece of news comes out... maybe Emmett and Sam have compete in a decathlon to determine if he gets a pay out?
169
By Monday morning Theo might be the new CEO of OpenAI… or me… or you?
130
This comment is transcending the traditional social communication medium allowing the viewers to move into a new paradigm of idea sharing and thought provocation beyond the current limitations of the human brain.

For a big business that’s a mark of shame. For a cool person doing cool things I think it’s an awesome sign you’re crushing it
85
The comment around missing it when you’re in other industries hits home… even other plain text areas struggle to do this properly… contracts, proposals…
82
The point about the banks is pretty hilarious. Would love to see Apple request 30% of any payments I make to my bank using the app.
78
Can’t wait to confuse someone during the next pull request… “unsure I could explain to Theo’s mum. Please simplify”
77
The name… is Theo isn’t here anymore get used to it… agen.
75
Theo what’s your opinion on the cookie settings piece when you land on a site? Genuinely interested in the perspective of a thoughtful dev - because it’s always a pain for me to click “no” and then find my path through the dark pattern. But I love when products get better…
59
Cascading tech debt… a story of frontend development. RIP to an evening lost of dumb problems.
58
That plugin takeover is craaaaaazy...
52
You're not even thinking about the impact on crypto startups man. Do you not have a heart?!
51
I’d be shocked if Microsoft isn’t able to reroute all their OpenAI integrations to another product just in case this ever happened and they needed / could move to a more efficient product. At least all the rhetoric could be dropped around being for humanity since they have fiduciary responsibilities.
44
I would buy one if it was just virtual windows to replace my monitor. I don’t want a bunch of other platform specific stuff. I just want monitors.
40
Australia mentioned let’s go
34
It’s obviously built by very technical individuals… but that’s not to say they were the decision makers
33
I love that we’re talking about needing to minimise the amount being sent to the browser, meanwhile loading any page on the entire web has 50 nonsense calls to every data broker on the planet.
32
Prime passing out face down without moving a single sheet… he literally copped to this on a neetcode react video a while ago. Basically said “before my wife I’d never had a mattress off the floor”. The man doesn’t lie.
30
Easiest way to keep code looking nice - move all complexity to some other layer.
29
@portalpacific4578 everyone is a salesman. Even you’re out here selling a crap opinion.
25
Honesty no wonder people feel burned out by trying to keep up with frontend stuff. RIP to anyone trying.
24
Temporarily pushed to prod. As a short term fix. 5years ago.
22
It’s not about the size of the png that matters. It’s the way you use it.
21
I separate my concerns by never building the front end… leave that new age jazz to the kids
21
No more full stack or frontend devs. Ethereal Devs are now required.
19
Make a two hour video to jettison these script kiddies.
17
So happy this happened
14
I caught that too… he didn’t get his 8hours…
14
This is absolutely on point.
14
When you need more, learn more. But by volume, I would bet the majority of projects don’t need more
14
I still take the same time to build a square mud house...
13
Bit of a L comparison. Not sure any of those tools were ever said to be free forever and then backflipped? At least not yet. To say it’s either all or nothing is very simplistic… also kind of ignores the fact that these wouldn’t/aren’t the only kind of people affected or upset by the change. I couldn’t equally say something like “Guy posts worthless comment about hypothetical people making worthless comments.”
13
I came here because of Theo’s silly expressions. So we can just cancel each other out don’t sweat it mate
11
I would love to see a home grown movement to force change - it’s clearly overdue for some political attention
11
Just go watch the original? Skill issue bro sorry
11
Can't wait to see people freaking out about that one on-screen animation!
11
C# let’s go. Does Visual Studio/Code handle blazor well now? I remember the LSP sucking a year ago where I’d have errors everywhere but compiles and runs perfectly.
11
There was during the original stream, pretty sure he said Postman was similar in regard to the push for accounts etc…
10
Am I crazy to think that the differences between OS shells are less important as a we shift more and more toward containers even locally?
10
4:56 Theo used I when talking about the change. So maybe he did write the change. Maybe we can give the bloke a break given he admits how little code he’s writing these days and shouts out good people in the community.
10
And my father assured him, either his brains or signature would be on the contract,
9
How long are the Eva\MrBruh\Logykk's of the world expected to stay WhiteHat... those responses make me want to become Blackhat...
9
Want number go up? Opt people in automatically Want number go down? Make the process span pages and designs.
9
Friday deployment is for rookies and young people.
8
It’s basically the new LinkedIn jobs. They’ll pivot to being a recruitment company using the info they’ve gathered to shuffle good candidates between companies…
8
@3ventic is right.
