Does this strange man have any qualifications to help you or is he even more inept than you are? What kind of bear? Black, brown, grizzly, polar? Male or female bear? What time of year? Has the bear eaten? Are you near the bear’s cubs? In truth, most men, if they are capable of helping a 13 year old girl out of the woods, they’re going to help. And most bears are gonna wander off and leave you to die alone.
