I had a horrible fever as an infant/young baby and as a result my teeth developed without enamel. Brushing flossing 100x a day would not have been enough and eventually all of my teeth were replaced with crowns. It was the price of a new mercedes but a huge QoL change that was not only necessary but 100% worth it.
