  1. Another crazy thing i noticed is how truly “woke” this movie is. Not the fake wokeness in current media where people point fingers about equality while being blatantly racist, but the kind of woke where race and gender have no real effect on your opportunities, because race and gender arent really a thing anymore. The characters in the boot camp of the mobile infantry for example are incredibly diverse, from black women to white men and everything in between (nothing openly gay or trans, but that probably has more to do with it being made in 1997). Even the new, more thoughtful sky marshall is a strong black woman. The thing is, the movie makes no attempt to point out this diversity, it just simply “is”. Dunno just seemed cool i guess 🤷‍♂️
